Being the shoe fanatic that I am, I know that I will probably own a pair or two, the pair that I will wear and the pair that I would’ve bought impulsively.  I would definitely step out in a more understated pair as worn by Brittany Snow. They are just the right amount of rocker chic.

This pair by Christian Louboutin is rather fetching too. I would definitely step out in these.

Now these are the  ones that I find a little over the top, very "Avant Garde/Lady Gaga" if you will, but I doubt that I will step out in them, the creepy nails on the toe of the shoe, actually frightens me a bit. Without the spikes up top, in retrospect, I guess I would probably rock it, if I owned it.

Well darlings, the weekend has started. Tomorrow I am off to the Cape Town Carnival, to view Cape Town in all it’s splendor. What are you up to this weekend, and what do you think of “Steels?”

Love 'em or loath 'em, I love 'em

I looooooove shoes *screaming*

Last night I had my weekly skype dose with my bff Stephie, and as per usual we talked about this and that, you know, fashion, men, friends, family, blogging you name the whole happy lot, and then she said something about luck.... and how she felt she is just not lucky in some ways, I think that some people are just at the right place at the right time, it's unfortunate that we all couldn't be there, to catch the gaze of the young fella that possibly turns out to be the love of your life or arrive at the less 70% sale when all the good stuff are still on the shelves.

Then I was lying in bed, tossing, turning and thinking would i rather be lucky or blessed? Is there really a difference? I don't know, everyone has their own opinion about this.  It's unfortunate that some of us, myself included think we are unlucky. Unlucky in love, unlucky in careers, you name the whole happy lot. Then it dawned on me, Stephie is lucky, so is my sister, Chesna, Stephie L, my mom, my family everyone of them, again myself included. For starters I am lucky just to have these great people in my life being at the right place at the right time meeting them, and being born into the same family as my family.

We all have aspects in our lives that make other people think and say "she is so lucky". At the end of the day we are all just blessed with different things and maybe deep down our hearts are longing for what that lucky girl/boy has! And I can bet you right now someone is thinking and saying "you are so lucky". I think, well this is just my opinion we are all lucky to be blessed with what we have even if it is not entirely what we really want. If you think about it, not everyone is lucky to have the blessings you have. So I am just gonna stop thinking about luck and count my blessings. By the way these shoes were the last size 4 in stock....was it luck or just meant to be mine?

This might not make sense to you, I sometimes have a hard time putting my thoughts into words, but just remember that when you're feeling unlucky, that you are lucky to be blessed in ways others are not.

Wedges

My two favorite things combined: the color red and a bow.

These are great for the summer and spring times paired with a nice flowy dress or shorts, Stephanie got something similar in pink accept it doesn't have a sling back...Christian Louboutin creates the most amazing looking poozies.

These are quite nice, they look very comfortable, great for work I would say.

Now I like these, I adore shoes that tie around the ankles, I found them online for only $19, I haven't bought them yet, but I am thinking of it, what do you think?

Spent the weekend in Gyeongju at Stephanie's place and she showed me these fab little patent leather pastel pink wedges she recently bought and they are stunning! I am such a sucker for shoes it's not even funny! I'm pretty sure you can relate, how many of us have bought shoes to only display them in our shoe cupboards and never to be worn...That had me thinking I should try and wear all my shoes that I have brought to Korea at least once before I leave the country...I mean it's ridonculous! I lugged them all the way here not to be worn? I've brought 19 pairs with me and probably only wore about 10 of them...anyway darls we are lucky to have a public holiday today...and I'm spending it relaxing from the window to the wall! Have a fab one!

Mirror Mirror on the Wall....

I got these blue satin killer heels last year in February and I have NEVER worn them, how sad... I actually miss them, I left them back home hopefully my sister will bring them along on her visit... They are my pick me up shoes..

I luuurve the gals in the middle in fact I love all my galies, my bff stephie from phatsion playground http://phatsionplayground.blogspot.com/says : "they look like superhero shoes, she wants to borrow them when she dresses up as wonderwoman...lol 

The pair right at the bottom was a gift from Chesna for my birthday, I literally jumped on her when she gave me these galies! J'adore them! Go-ma-woa chessy...

All my heels are 11 cm's and higher, makes me look a whopping 1,75m tall...:p

Cocktail Rings

So I've mentioned before that I am a cocktail ring fanatic! Well here are a few of my favorite ones, the one that draws the most attention is the Butterfly.... The red shell one I picked up walking along the beach. The turquoise one I got from my sister, she thinks she might have found it in a lucky packet...hehehe
